Charles Painter, 66, passed away on July 11, 2022. His services will be held at a later date by the direction of his family.
Charles was an active member of our church, including our Senior Ministry, where he sang and praised the Lord with his voice and his friendly presence. We miss him, but know he is Home with the Lord he loved.
Charles you were a ray of sunshine—always smiling and praising God even in the midst of trials when you became ill. You were such a blessing to all. We are grateful to have known you as our friend and will miss you Charles. We are thankful to have the assurance that you are in Heaven now praising the Lord.
Charles was a faithful member of Azalea garden church. He was active in the senior adult group, young at heart. We will all miss his bright smile and exuberant worship. We are thankful that he is no longer in pain and is in the presence of our Lord.
As his step son, he was a great father and taught me many lessons and skills that follow me to this day. My regret was falling out of touch for a few years. I’m grateful I was at least able to get in contact with him earlier this year but it still isn’t enough, especially just now finding out about his decease.
