Virginia Beach- Patricia passed peacefully in her sleep at her home in Virginia Beach, Va., on November 22, 2018, at the age of 48. She was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Navy at time of death. She was also a survivor of breast cancer and was in remission for 3 years as well. Patricia was also 6 years retired from the Navy when she passed. She served from 1992 to 2012. Many knew her as Trish, few were allowed to refer to her Patricia, even fewer called her mom.
Patricia was born on April 16th 1970 in Belleville, N.J. She moved to Bradley Beach N.J. When she was very young. Patricia graduated from Brick Memorial High School in Brick Township N.J. She was a member of the Air Force JROTC program in high school. Patricia entered the Delayed Entry Program for the Navy after high school graduation and entered the Navy at 22 years old and was first stationed in Norfolk Va. She got reassigned to Ft. Monmouth N.J. where she spent one tour of duty. She reenlisted and was then stationed back in Norfolk Va. where she retired after 20 years of service. Patricia is the youngest of 10 children and is survived by six sisters and two brothers
She was predeceased in life by her Father James L. Weimer, her Mother Mary A. Weimer and her sister Louise Boyd.
She is survived by her four sons: Justin, Jason, Michael and Brian Goodrich all of Virginia Beach, Va.
She is also survived by her six sisters: Ellen Wiles (David), Maureen Weimer, Ann Marie Weimer and Jane Kolendriski (George). All of Murfreesboro, Tn. Mary Ann Breeden (Edward) of Bradyville, Tn. and Joan Sabo (John) of White House, Tn.
She is also survived by two brothers: James Weimer (Shari) of Spring Lake N.J. and Peter Weimer (Wendy) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
She had nineteen nieces and nephews and two great nieces and one great nephew.
Her life with be celebrated on December 16th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion post 327 on 705 Lesner Ave. Norfolk, VA.
